SmileI would really appreciate your thought on this as I am worried I am losing the plot a bit and possibly getting a bit obsessed!!Blush
Already have 2 children and decided to try for number 3.
So I am due on my period Tom. Me being impatient took a first response test yest morning and this morning. Both came back exactly the same. Really faint pink line - almost thought I was imagining it but hubby saw them too. Grin However as they were really faint I wasn't sure I believed I was pregnant so on my way home from work bought one of those clear blue digital tests and tested this afternoon. I know I know you are meant to do it in the morning but I really do think I am being obsessed with finding out! Blush Anyway it came back 'not pregnant' SadSadSadSad
Thing is I have been getting really sore boobs for about 2 weeks and I am turning into a bit of a mental head too so I was thinking I really was pregnant. Sorry for the long story but whats your verdict? Pregnant or not pregnant?

If there was a line no matter how faint then you ate probably pregnant. can you get a Tesco cheap test and test in the morning? they are meant to be really sensitive

firstbaby01 · 02/04/2014 16:23

**you are. not you ate lol.

NigellasDealer · 02/04/2014 16:23

well reallly.....

Rockchick1984 · 02/04/2014 16:23

Clear blue digis aren't as sensitive as first response, and afternoon urine is too dilute for an early result. Leave it 2 days and do another first response test if no sign of your period. Good luck!

eurochick · 02/04/2014 16:27

I think the best response to one of these threads I ever saw was an exasperated "if you pee on your keyboard, the internet will tell you"...

You've had a line, you are almost certainly pregnant. Digis are not very sensitive.

GrinThanks guysGrin xx much appreciated!

Exactly the same thing happened to me. It was not until 4 or 5 days late that the lines started to get a bit darker, which was surprising as with my last two dc the lines showed up really dark by af due date. If you can get to the poundshop you can get a pack of two for £1 and test everyday like I did! !

Pobblewhohasnotoes · 02/04/2014 19:38

I don't think clear blue digital tests are very sensitive. I've always got the best results from first response tests or shop cheapies.

A line is a line, as they say! Maybe do another one in a couple of days.

plokett1 · 02/04/2014 21:59

I never got a good response from the digital 1's and always relied on the cheapies! Although if u have any line i would suspect u are pregnant as the test is detecting hcg, u can get a false negative but not a false positive! How exciting and good luck!

Sammi1986 · 02/04/2014 22:20

Clear blue came back negative for me, first response was positive straight away. 37w today! Good luck

JustDanni · 03/04/2014 08:24

First Response are much more sensitive that Clear Blue.
If you are going to test early then I would take the faint positive as the correct outcome, as faulsies are pretty rare.

Try again in a day or two if you want to be sure Grin

Hi I'm in the same boat!! Trying for our first - been overly thirsty, bloated, constipated &had implantation bleed and cramps 1st and 2nd and due on tomorrow and got period pains now! Hoping that's all they are! Can that happen?? Did my first clear blue digital this morning and came back negative - which was heart wrenching!! Just been and stocked up on Tesco cheapies to do daily.

So here's to hoping that I don't get my period.

Reading all the threads has helped from all you mummy's!! This is my first post so apologies that I don't know the 'lingo' yet.

:)
