Pregnancy dreams.....

Just a theory that a friend has......lots of people have commented that they had vivid (raunchy) dreams during pregnancy - were those babies boys or girls?!?!

Similarly, with loss of libido/absence of 'vivid' dreams, boys/girls?!

You can probably see where I'm going with this - a couple of friends are convinced that their boys were the cause of their sexy dreams, just wondering.....

I had very vivid dreams with DS, but not remotely raunchy.

i.e giving birth to a cat , giving birth to a dreadlocked walking talking baby with a full set of teth and acting like it was the most natural thing in the world.

Actually this seems true, I have 4 girls and don't remember very vivid dreams and my sex drive didn't increase really.
This one is a bot and the dreams are pretty vivid and my sex drive is through the roof!!
Would be great but we are on a sex ban from the Doctors

I have 3 boys already and although my sex drive wasn't high when PG with them we actually have the odd bit of nookie. I even looked forward to it.

This time, my sex drive is Zero. Zilch....actually less than that. The thought horrifies me and theres a self inflicted sex ban in our house.

Don't know what we're having though....

I think there might be some truth in this. I've heard that the placenta is a two-way channel and as well as stuff from you travelling to the baby, testosterone in a developing boy baby can travel into your body and give you a higher sex drive. My libido certainly went through the roof when pg with a boy last time.

Ah, I wonder if that's it then. Last week I had a really raunchy dream about a colleague from work involving much snogging (and I've never thought about him like that before!). The other night I was snogging David Tennant whose nose turned into a miniature penis . Be interesting to see if this is a boy..

I had a "raunchy" dream involving a night of passion with David Hasselhof!!!!!
and it was a boy.
But then a friend of mine had a dream of a threesom with George Clooney and Brad Pitt and hers was a girl....
Still upset that I got the hoff.......

LOL, I'd be upset with the Hoff compared to George and Brad!!

Thanks for all the responses - it's very interesting and for those of us currently pg, a waiting game, I guess!! Am 7 months and have had one remotely romantic (not raunchy) dream and no increase in libido......
