This is my closest hospital, although I had DS at Homerton. Have asked GP to refer me there again for DC2 but he said that if there was no availability there, I'd be referred back to Whipps.

Anyone know if things have improved since this report?

I had my children there in 2005 and 2008. I found the ante natal ward a bit dire but the post natal was good. They had in 2008 a brilliant breastfeeding counsellor who was also a trained scbu nurse. She spotted problems with my ds2 straightaway and got him into scbu, eternally grateful to her. Staff vary as they do anywhere. Second time the staff were a lot better during the birth, first time the labour wasn't good. I would go for homerton since you know it, but don't stress if you get whipps.
