My wrist and right arm occasionally feel "dead" a bit like it would go before you experienced pins and needles. Its a really horrible sensation. Is there any cure, should I inform my midwife when i next see her?

Poor you, it's nasty - I had it towards the end of bothy pregnancies. You could try wrist splints (although I couldn't get on with them). I found it went a few weeks after each of my kids were born. I used to sleep with my hands raised over pillows, I found that helped.
