Kicking out below rather than from the front!

Does anyone sometimes feel that their baby is kicking downwards so it feels like it's coming out from below, rather than from the front?!

Ds used to do this - rather uncomfortable isn't it!

I wouldn't say it's uncomfortable (I'm not being booted hard at all at the moment) - it just feels strange!

Oh just you wait. Ds used to something I called 'bladder-bopping' - ie using my bladder as a trampoline. Uncomfortable though not painful, but giving me a sudden severe one-second-urge to wee. MIL told me that dh bladder-bopped so hard that she kept wetting herself in her last 6w or so.

When do you start getting "bladder-bopping"?!

I have to say all my kicks have been very sedate and I've not been booted hard at all!

Mine does this (although now bigger, kicks all over) and I find it rather uncomfortable, especially if I'm leaning forwards when he does it!

Ds used to boot me right on the cervix

Ds did it a lot - don't recall exactly when, but I was getting ungainly by that time, so probably 3rd trimester. Dd OTOH barely bladder-bopped at all, but she faced inwards most of the time and was head-down for most of the 3rd trimester, so I didn't feel her kicks nearly as strongly. Boy did she stretch outwards though - it often felt as if she was trying to come out through my belly-button!
