Pain very low

I hope someone can help, but I'm not sure!

Have had what can only be described as gripy pains very very low down. Got up in the night to go to the loo and the pains were still there, to the point where it was interfering with my going to the loo!

I'm going the loo fine, and it doesn't hurt to go, but I'm still getting the gripy pain (not enough to warrant pain killers though)

Consequently, it coincides with me starting pelvic floor exercises.

Any ideas? Is this just baby pressing on my bladder do you think?

I'm 22+2.

Thanks.

constipation? is it round your tummy area, or lower back?

At the front very very low down, it's not a constipation feeling.

I had this, with both my pregnancies. Only answer I got from health profs was that I am very slim and that my muscles had a lot more stretching to do to accomodate bump. (I had a lot of different pains, all around, but I particularly remember the low down ones, almost just above the bone, but inside, ifywim, when you are lying down)
Hope that helps!!

Hi, had the same, I had SPD as well (sharp shooting pain in pubic area) and stretching almost tearing feeling low down, they put these down to round ligament stretching pains.

Thanks - all these pains etc that everyone is describing sounds familiar to me too! Oh the joys!

It might be that, or I had the same sort of pain from a bladder infection, which was really quite excrutiating, and worse when I needed the loo. I got a short course of antibiotics from the dr, and am now keeping it at bay with tanker-loads of cranberry juice!

Thanks, I don't think it's a bladder infection - as it doesn't hurt when I go to the loo and the pain isn't that bad, I'm just aware of it.
