Due tomorrow - achy upper thighs a sign of imminent labour?

According to my 40 week midwife appointment yesterday, the baby is 3/5 engaged, and I'd swear my belly's dropped even further since then.

Something I noticed today was a kind of heavy aching sensation in the front of my upper thighs, just near the crease. It's not painful, just a sort of dull ache, a bit like the muscles are tired. Anyone else experienced this?

And yes, I am symptom-spotting like a mad thing. Getting more excited by the day. Spicy curry planned for tonight. Smile

I've had two 'leg labours' so yes, achy thighs was a sign for me. I spent most of my second labour moaning 'my legs, my legs' as it was worse than the contractions in the finish.

Good luck OP.

I've had achy thighs for days now...sorry. It does seem to be getting worse though, and the baby is engaged apparently. I'm 38wks. I've been experiencing Braxton hicks in my upper thighs and bump for weeks.
