Is bonjela for adults safe to use during pregnancy?
I'm 26 weeks. It says to consult a doctor or pharmacist if pregnant on the leaflet.
On the back of the box it states not to give to children and adolescents under 16 years because of an association between salicylates and Reye's syndrome. Reye's syndrome is a rare disease which affects the brain and liver and can be fatal.
I've rung my midwife who doesn't know, going to ring a pharmacist now but just wondered if anyone else had considered using bonjela for adults????
