I have had period like cramps for about 5 days. i thought it was pd pains but am now 3 days late for pd. have also felt nausea for the past week. I am concerned about these cramps, all info says implantation cramps last about a day or so. I have had mine constantly all day for about 5-6 days if not longer. I was hoping it was a good sign on being pg but now I have doubts. Anyone experience cramps for so long so early on and turned out pg ?

Hi,

I suffered cramps for around 4 weeks with both my pregnancies I think there's implantation cramps and then there's stretching type cramps, which tend to be worse in first time mums.
My dd's are now almost 3 and 5 - so everything was fine but I remember how worried I was at the time. Can you ring the midwife for some advice / reassurance?

thanks doodledo !

did you get the cramps so early on or after 4 weeks or so.

I do not know if I am pg or not yet, I was hoping I was but now I am not so sure as I am worrying that the cramps have gone on for too long for me to be pg.

I am 3 days late for my period and for the week prior to period due date onwards, am suffering from constant mild cramps and slight nausea (do not ususally get cramps with my pmt)

Both times I didn't think I could be pregnant as I felt I had period cramps and the only sign that I was was that I was a few days late. So I guess the cramps happened pretty much straight away and then lasted for 4 weeks or so ( during which time I realised I was pregnant )

Oh and I also felt nauseous very early on (about six weeks pregnant)
Fingers crossed for you
