Palpatations in pregnancy - cause for concern?

Not me - my mother.

Shes 42 and about 16 weeks pregnant and has been getting palpatations.

There was no available doctors appointments until OCTOBER at our surgery so she has been referred to the hospital.

Should I be concerned?

I have had this with all 3 of my pregnancies...with dd I was sent for an ecg and everything was fine so this time I am not worrying although sometimes hard not to. Would still make an appointment for gp or mention to/phone midwife.

i also had this with my ds, was told that it was due to me iron levels beiong so low, couls she maybe speak to her mw over the phone about this and see what she suggests?
