DD2 due in May. DD1 is only just 2 so u think it'd be fresh in my mind!

confused about what sizes of sleepsuits/vests I need to take to hosp. DD1 was 8lb 5 but I'm pretty sure she wore "up to 7lb 8" stuff for a little while.

I'm thinking of taking 3x "up to 7lb8" sleepsuits and vests & 3x "up to 10lb" sleepsuits and vests... do u think to be on safe side I should take 3x "up to 14lb" dleeosuits/vests too?

and also, freaking out that DD2 will turn out to be DS1 and his first photo will be in a hand me down pink floral babygrow. should I take some cheapy plain unisex babygrows just in case?? but in all 3 sizes again? forgot how stressful this packing for every eventuality business is Grin

I didn't take enough last time and dd was sick on everything so dh had to bring spares the next day!
I'm packing at least 6 vests and sleepsuits. They're tiny so won't take up much space.

yes this is exactly what happened with DD1... but we don't live far from hosp and plenty of family have a key to be able to run us spares up if needs be... and of course the baby clothes will all be washed & labelled at home ready Grin

what sizes are you packing?

God knows wrt sizing. Can't remember what I took for dd (less than 2 years ago!) either.

Probably just newborn. I mean, at 8lb11 she wasn't small but fit in all newborn clothes we had. Like you say, easy enough for someone to bring things if you need more/different sizes.

Neutral is good. Also my tip is to buy a couple of packets of babygros in smaller sizes. Pay separately and in cash (not card). Leave them in packet then sellotape receipt to packet. Partner/ hubby can then go and return them/ exchange them if you don't want them. Sounds complicated but it isn't really!
