hip pain

I am currently 16 weeks pregnant with DC2 and have been getting some really bad hip pain in my left hip on and off for a few weeks now. It doesn't seem to be triggered by anything in particular other than just sitting and then standing up. It makes walking really painful and often makes just getting on with anything impossible. Any ideas what this could be? Didn't have it with DS xxx

I have had this on and off, I'm 29 weeks with DC3. Baby is transverse, I think in some positions putting pressure on my sciatic nerve. I get hip pain on left side and shooting pains down the back of my leg. Hot bath helps, and then she seems to shift position and it eases off.

I had this, my daughter has hip dysplasia which she got from me, which is how they figured mine out! It's probably nothing at all to be worried about but do check
