I'm 35+0 all day today I've had period type cramps. my bump has been getting hard then soft all day. It's not painful just uncomfortable.

my lower back aches off and on and I keep needing to use the loo for BM. any ideas what going on? I want to be optimistic but also realistic if you know what I mean!

Maybe Braxton Hicks?

I'm hoping just braxton hicks. It's just been going on all day with no breaks. :-/

Sounds like braxtonhicks. Mine have started already at 19 weeks. Usually if im over doing it at work. I find having a seat and drinking plenty of water helps take the edge off.
Dehydration can make them worse x
