Any help with due date?

Hello I got a couple of BFPs today but I have PCOS so unsure of my due date. My last AF was 18 Jan but they were getting further apart each month so my average cycle was about 42 days. Do I calculate it from my first day of AF which would make me 7 weeks. I'm lying here trying to sleep but can't as so excited as was getting worried as had been TTC for over 6 months.
Any help gratefully received!

I made it 8 weeks if you go by first day of last period (which mw may insist on until you have your scan), or 6 weeks if you adjust for cycle length and assume you ovulate 14 days before your period starts (which I was told is more accurate in terms of due date).

Not that I'd trust my calculations at this time of night...

Thanks catkind. 8 weeks! Hardly any symptoms apart from occasionally feeling a bit queasy which I thought was due to the metformin I take for pcos and occasionally a bit dizzy. That's it really.

Does anyone else have any wise words?

I was in a similar position to you, they gave me an early scan and then went with that although it did get slightly adjusted at my 12 week scan. For me I was in the middle of the likely range. I'd get on to your docs and get them to refer you for an early scan.

I know you didn't ask but I found I got a lot of conflicting advise about whether to carry on the metformin or not. You might want to do some research to better understand your options. My consultant has has to carry on throughout but really depends on why you were taking it and your circumstances.
