Hello!

Quick question... Well as the title reads really. My first was 10 days early (due to me and oh having an afternoon cuddleWink)

Just wondered what everyone else's second time was like. I can assure you, no "cuddles" this time. I'm 35+3 and bloody exhausted/achey with spd.

I can feel pressure but not had any real Braxton hicks yet. Sometimes have Very very light period pains at points of the day.

DS2 born 40+1 same as DS1, but DS2 was natural whereas DS1 was induced, fx its soon for you!

ItsSpringBaby · 15/03/2014 22:26

My second was born roughly on time - 40+3. First 39+6

DramaAlpaca · 15/03/2014 22:28

My first arrived at 39+2.

So as everyone says second babies are earlier I was a bit surprised to be kept waiting until 40+5!

Funnily enough DC3 was exactly the same as DC1 at 39+2.

37+5 first
37+1 second

Both spontaneous labours.

samsmother · 15/03/2014 23:00

DS born at 36+3
Convinced DD would be similar, she arrived 2 weeks ago at 40+2

Strokethefurrywall · 16/03/2014 01:52

DS1 born at 37+6
DS2 I'm waiting very impatiently on - I'm 38 weeks today.

MrsJK · 16/03/2014 02:09

Dc1 born 38+2
DC2 born 39+5

Those extra 10 days were spent painfully waiting on pins Confused

humblebumble · 16/03/2014 02:12

DS1 induced @ 40+1 (low amniotic fluid)
DS2 early 38 + 4 (foot reflexology) Wink

Batbear · 16/03/2014 02:20

DS1 born 39 weeks.
DS2 born at 41+6 after an induction.

Both babies didn't drop until labour was established and I had some stress with my FIL's illness the second time round which may be why DS2 stayed put!

PastaandCheese · 16/03/2014 04:53

40+3 with my first. 41 weeks with second.

Thanks for the replies!

I'm fed up with the "you'll have him early" comments. I want him to stay in for at least another 4 weeks so I can enjoy my full nights sleep and naps in the day Grin
