What age did you stop having babies?

I'm almost 25 and have 3.5,almost2, & 6 week old. But I don't see us just having three...

first and only at 38, thanks to 5 MCs before DD and 2 after.

I'm getting the feeling the OP has never considered the fact that not everyone can squeeze a baby out just like that, and actually get any choice in the matter .

My Gran had 3 babies in her 20s, 2 babies in her 30s and 3 babies in her 40s. She had her first at 21 and her last at 45. I don't know where she got her energy!

This is my last. Dc3, due next month and just turned 35.
She'll start school the year I turn 40 and I plan to start up a career self publishing my writing while they're all at school.

DS1 - 19
DS2 - 22
DS3 - 29
DC4 - 31 due aug

At your age I wasn't close to even thinking about children! I'm pregnant with first at 36 and hope, all going well to have a second in next few years.

First and last at 43 .

As Heather says, when I was your age having babies was the last thing on my mind.

27, 30, 34 and am done.

1st at 17
2nd at 20
3rd at 24
4th at 26
5th at 30

DC1 at 31, DC3 due in June and I'll be nearly 40. that's it for me. In a perfect world I'd have had 2 yr gaps and been done by 35, but it didn't work out like that.
At 25 you have loads of time for a footie team if you want one!

My first and second babies at 33 (twins) and I am done.

1st - 23
2nd - 25
3rd - 27

And this one I will be 34

I had my first at 31 unplanned, I felt too young and second and last at 34.

Golly, I can't imagine having babies at 25. I was too occupied with travelling, drinking, etc. Respect to you!

Didn't meet my husband until I was 31 and had my first just before my 35th birthday. Hope to have a second too.

34. Have two dc but would've loved more!!

Just have the one, highly unlikely to have more. She is 13 now.

My dc. We're born when I was 29, 31 and 32. I'm 43 now with a 14, 12 and 10 yo.

I entered the peri menopause at around 35 and am now thoroughly post-menopausal, so I'm glad I did it (though dc3 was a very happy mirena accident!!) when we did. My prem menopause runs in the paternal side of my family so I didn't find that out until I talked to my dad's sister!

First at 34, second recently at 40.........in my head I feel it's a good point to stop........... :)

My personal cut off is 35, and even then I wouldnt classify it as ideal. Ideal would be 32/33

I think 39 is my cut-off. I know many, many women have happy, safe pregnancies beyond that age but I feel it's best not to risk it, if you've already been lucky enough to have one or two before 40. Just my view. Ask me again the night before my 40th and I might be panic shagging!!

My mum was 35 when she had me, old back then. She's 70 now and I can't help wishing she was 10 years younger. She had her own mum in her life till she was 60. I probably won't be so lucky.

Had my 3rd and last child at 35.

DC1 (2yrs) - 36
DC2 (3 months) - 38

Didn't meet DH until I was 32, otherwise I would have started sooner. Would love a third but don't have the headspace/energy/finance... all in all we feel v lucky to have two healthy kids so we are done

I was 37 when I had DD. She is my second child and we're definitely not having more. She's coming up to 2 now and DH and I feel we're getting our lives back and finding the kids more fun - my friend's were not kidding when they said 4&2 is 10% of the "how many hours till bedtime?" of 3&1. Also, this way, they'll be out of the house when I'm 55 and DH and I can retire. I wish we'd started a few years earlier- got married at 32 and didnt have DS till 35 but we moved countries twice in that time and had a bit of a "lets wait till we're settled" mentality.

29 and 30 though they're 21 months apart.
