Hey all, I am 33 weeks and will be having the babes at Basildon hospital .... I am hoping to have a water birth and I am low risk I just wandered if anyone had had their baby there , I don't necessarily want to hear horror stories but recommendations or hints and tips :-)) xxx

Hiya.
Bit of a different experience as I had a planned section there 8 years ago and due another one in May.
All I can say is that the care I had there was wonderful. I wouldn't have had better care privately and I was a bit nervous as I wasn't sure what to expect from them. They were amazing and it was a very positive experience for me xx

I had my DD there a couple of years ago, in their MLU (is it the Willow wing?) and also had excellent care!
