(car seat) sales

So, after much deliberation and fiddling with car seats in various shops, we've decided we want a Britax Dualfix.

The Dualfix hasn't been around that long, so it's still quite expensive. I'm due in June. Does anyone have experience with when big sales might happen? Is there generally a spring or summer sale? Obviously, being due in June, we can't wait too long, but I'm loath to spend £300+ on a car seat, even if it is the one we want!

Alternatively, any secret cheaper websites? (doubtful on this one!)

Have you had a look on Amazon to see if they stock them? We have ordered our Maxi Cosi from Mothercare but they price match with Amazon for carseats, so instead of paying £135 they matched it to £73! Could have ordered from Amazon in the first place but Mothercare show you how to fit them, easier returns if need be etc. Might be worth a look? x

You are unlikely to get a big discount on a new and expensive seat like this. Price matching is your best bet. Seats that seem to be in25% off deals tend to be at the cheaper end of the market in my experience.
