Very scared at 20 weeks

I had a mmc at 12 weeks last pregnancy. Then an early bleed this one - at a scan at 6 weeks they saw two babies but only one had a heartbeat and 10 days after there was only one baby. At my 12 week scan the baby was fine. But last night I had a huge bleed and passed clots because I was 19+6 and not 20 weeks I had to wait 3 hours in a and e - was sent to gynae ward and had a check up - they said my cervix closed but try couldn't scan me. So today I have a scan at 4.00 and am sat waiting, petrified and hoping my baby is ok. Also scared as they couldn't do Nuchal fold at 12 weeks as baby was moving round so that's on my mind too.

Hope everything is fine, I'm sure it will be, but I know it's nerve wracking. Is there someone who can keep you company to take your mind off it? Also sending lots of positive thoughts your way x

Sending lots of love and prayers your way. I am no expert so I can't offer much but my mum had lots of bleeds with me, and was very high risk yet I was born perfectly healthy and full term. Try not to worry as its no good for you, silly thing to say as I know you can't help it but just take your mind off things best you can. Good luck xx

I can understand why you are so scared.
Any chance the bleed may have been late from baby 1?
I really have nothing that can soothe you here as I would be terrified too.

Thanks for all your kind words. They haven't given me any explanation for bleed as they can't until scan. Keeping everything crossed x

Yes DP is coming with me - I thought it was important for him to go to work today and try and keep things normal. He's been amazing support. 4.00 still seems ages away. X

All was fine - wriggling about and waving. All measurements and heartbeat were fab! Never been so happy and relieved. Going back for a check up weds. Thanks for all of the support. This pregnancy is a rocky road! Hopefully we will sleep tonight!!! X

Fantastic news! How cute that the baby was waving :) Maybe he/she was waving at you to say "all ok in here mummy, see you in 20 weeks!"

Oh brilliant :) i had mc last yr, and some spotting at just iver 18wks this one, but my 20wk scan was the onky time i havent been scared or worried as i have felt him mive from 13wks,nd i knkw aslong as i can feel him onhis swimming trips in there i know hes ok in there :) xx
