This might be a silly question but I have gone from wearing a size 32 bra to having to have 2 bra extenders in my bras in order for them to fit comfortably around my back. Post pregnancy, will I go back to a size 32 or will I now stay the same size? What happened to you?

I wore size 'medium' maternity bras for a year after first baby and was horrified after that that my shape after finishing breastfeeding was so altered that I could not fit my normal bras after that. Like you, was a lot wider around the back. I planned another baby so never bothered re-measuring and buying new ones, and have just finished bf baby 2 who is 13 months old. I think I am resigned to getting rid of all those lovely bras I used to wear and getting measured and buying a bunch of new ones. Not just overall size but cup size has changed and 'shape' too. Not happy really as seemingly have shrunk from pre-pregnancy cup size! Fatter tummy smaller boobs! Not a great result!

Ooh I have just popped over to style & beauty topic and see threads about 'bra intervention', am going to find out what that is and if it may help re sizing!

I went back (at least I did when I finally lost the last of the weight). The majority happened quite fast, and then the last little bit was flab Blush

I went back to a 32FF, but I only went up to 34F. My boobs basically just got harder and slightly bigger. I'm more lopsided since breastfeeding though. Sigh. Lefty was always more popular.

Oh, and my back went from a 32 to straining a 36 towards the end, so quite a big difference.

My rib cage went back to the same size, but my boobs stayed much bigger. Have been bra-interventioned in the meantime, though - was wearing 34D pre-pg no 1, now 30H at 20 weeks in pg no 3. Must go bra shopping...

Opposite of Too here - my ribs stayed bigger but boobs returned to roughly the same size as pre pregnancy - started as 32D and went to 34C once I'd lost the baby weight.
