What were your 'pre-labour' signs?

Hi all,

Just wondered whether, looking back, you had any signs/symptoms that labour was imminent? (Aside from mucus plug/waters going).
Or whether there was any indication that your waters were soon to go?

I'm finding myself 'symptom' spotting for labour, but nothing ever materialises!

Definite nesting the day before both DDs births.

Oh and I was also horrifically sick a couple of days before DD2. Everyone else was fine but not sure if it was related or not.

I'm 37 weeks today. I've been sick and had 4 harsh consecutive BH 2 minutes apart. I am sitting quietly being intently stated at by DH and we are both symptom spotting!

Vomiting and diarrhoea, you'll be glad to hear! Think it was my bodies way of clearing everything out for the pushing to start. Happened after my waters broke though, so I already knew DS was on his way.

I'm 38+3, so far brief tummy upset yesterday , stabbing pains in my cervix and feels like little one is head butting my tail bone and cervix. Other than that nothing- desperately hoped someone was going to say those symptoms!!! :-)

Had had nothing at all. Woke up in the middle of the night with mild contractions. It was over 20hrs later before my waters broke. My son was nearly born in the bag. Just try to relax. Everything will happen in its own time. I was just the same as you, looking out for any sign but just ended up frustrating myself. Everyone is so different there is no telling how it will be for you. Hope this helps

Two nights before I had what I thought were contractions. That was the only sign I can think of.

With my first, I did get an urge to clean out a kitchen cupboard. Other than that, nothing - went to bed as normal, woke up at 4.30am having a very strong contraction.

Felt incredibly peed off the day before labour with all mine, really grumpy thinking 'I'm never going to have this baby' even though bang in ir before due date! Went into labour at 1am that night each time.
