When does baby engage

Just curious really 34 weeks with my first, what week do they usually engage or is every baby different.

Also is there a time the baby needs to engage by (does that sound daft)

And can you go in to labour before baby has engaged.

Sorry for the daft questions lol

All I know it my first engaged at 24 weeks...she was ready to go! But didn't meet her until 40+4. This time I'm 28+3 and she's feet first still.

DS1 at about 36 weeks (born at 42) - I looked like John Wayne.

DS2 - when I went into labour.

DS3 - never - I was induced.
