Hiya what are your most Bizarre or unexpected symptoms?
I'm 5 weeks and it seems my bum is changing as much as my boobs!
My partner is amazed as now I have a god sized bum when it was tiny before and it goes all numb if I sit on it too long. :p

I had a metallic taste.
I also had rhuematic type pains.

I'm only 5 weeks, too. Area around my womb aches like I'm about to get a period (was so sure I was about to get it that I didn't think to take a test 'til 5 days overdue). Haven't seen that mentioned anywhere, so am trying not to think it's anything bad!

MrsKent · 11/03/2014 11:43

Yes, Greentshirt, the pain was quite severe, that's why I'd thought I'd mention it, because when it went it disappeared completely and then I remembered I had had it before in previous pregnancy and ended up seeing a MaxFac consultant for it who finally gave me an explanation after Gp and dentist could see nothing wrong.

greentshirt · 11/03/2014 11:53

That has made me feel so much better, thank you. There's just no rhyme or reason to it at all. I'm a sugar addict and always have been and people love to make this the reason for the pain like all my teeth have suddenly gone rotten etc.

Did you find anything that helped the pain when it came on or was it just a matter of riding it out?

MrsKent · 13/03/2014 16:34

I was told to avoid eating apples and bread, avoid chewing gum and avoid yawning...

starrynight123 · 13/03/2014 16:37

Hairs growing on my chin and upper lip!!! Had the odd one before, but now they are sprouting profusely!!

ithoughtofitfirst · 13/03/2014 19:15

Some of these are so weird.

Is anyone else really indecisive?

You're in a shop with this ridiculous dialogue going on like shall i buy this? Do i really want it? Do i even like it? Yeah maybe i shouldn't get it. But maybe if i don't i'll regret it and then have to come all the way back just to get it when i could've just got it right now.

And there's the midday dilemma Shall i make our lunch now or put him for his nap? What if he falls asleep and wakes up really hungry? Is it better to feed him... or will he be too tired to eat right now? Does he look more sleepy or more hungry?

Shall i take the car? Or walk? Or maybe the bus... but what if he falls asleep in the pram on the bus and someone wakes him up? Or we walk and he sleeps for too long and he's uncomfortable? Maybe the car? But then would it be too early for his lunch when we get back then?

Aaaaaaaaaaargh ffs woman

My best story of pregnancy weirdness (not exactly a symptom) was when expecting DC3. To distract myself from morning sickness I shopped online for a cute fluffy rabbit toy to buy for the nursery. But instead my brain linked these rabbits to the feeling of nausea.
So now every time I see a (particular brand) of fluffy bunny in the shops or round friends house I feel sick! Very silly :)

I Thought of it first, I have the same problem I just can't cope with complex thoughts :p I get all confused and flustered!
