Hi, this is my first so not sure what it should feel like, but for the last couple of days I've felt an odd flutter very low down in pelvic region. And I've been peeing more than usual; kind of get the impression my bladder is being pushed? Is it possible to feel the baby so early?

Hi op. Yes I felt my first at 16 weeks. Congrats!

I felt dd at 15 weeks but she was my second so I knew for definite what I was feeling. It's unusual but certainly not unheard of to feel your first at 16 weeks. Don't worry if you don't feel it daily though - at this stage that's normal.

I felt my first at 16 weeks. My second I felt much later but the placenta was at the front that time.

Hi para, I'm 16+1. The last few days I've been feeling funny things in my tummy but the skeptic in me was just convinced it was wind or a rumbling tummy. I saw the midwife today who listened to the heartbeat and every now and then there was a thud, and with each thud I had a flutter in my tummy. The midwife assured me this was me feeling the kicks. It's an amazing feeling Smile

I felt little flutters like bubbles from about 17-18 weeks then little kicks about 21 weeks. Now at 34 I feel elbows feet the lots :D x

I'm 23 weeks pregnant with my first and I started to feel little flutters super early that progressed into more recognisable stronger feelings at around 14 weeks - felt kind of like popcorn popping in my belly as if my skin was the lid of the pan ! Those feelings then got steadily stronger and more complex & frequent every day. Congrats !

Thanks everyone - I'm much more confident now that it's the baby I'm feeling, particularly as it happens when I'm sitting very still or laying down. Congratulations all of you x
