Period 4 days late!

Hi everyone I'm new to this.
I'm 25 and basically my periods are very regular on a 28 day cycle. I have been off the pill for 7 months now and have had a period every month on time since I came off the pill. However this month I am now 4 days late... I did a clear blue pregnsncy test yesterday and it came up negative! I sometimes feel like my period is coming but when I go to check I just see white/clear discharge which I have never had before. I recently have been feeling dizzy and slightly sick, I can feel random minor cramps on my lower abdomen which don't last very long. I also have had a bit of constipation and feeling the need to urinate more than normal.

Should I wait a little longer to test again?

Can anyone give me any advice?

If you ovulated late this month then yes you could be pregnant, but just not yet with enough HCG hormones to be detected yet on a test. My advice is to buy a sensitive test today (first response or similar - the digi tests like Clear Blue aren't great at detecting low hormone levels) and do another test tomorrow morning with your first morning urine (which is when your wee is most concentrated). I hope you get the result you want and let us know how it goes. x

I used Superdrug own brand ones - apparently they're good at detecting lower levels of HCG - also, they were on offer when I got mine, a lot cheaper than Clearblue etc.

Thank you lona. I'm gonna give it a couple of days before I do another one because I have to prepare myself if it is gonna be negative again! Lol.

Hi, I had to order some online because I've been really busy so just waiting for them to arrive. As of today my period is 6 days late!! I'm still experiencing white discharge and mild cramps in my lower abdomen, I have recently noticed my nipples been very sensitive so this is new!! Hopefully they will arrive soon so I can test again and find out for sure. X

I've been experiencing exactly the same symptoms except I've missed 2 periods and 2 tests have come up negative! I've never missed a period and it's very confusing for me

The superdrug ones are great, although this time i just bought two cheap ones from my chemist, as i had an incling and was due to see my doc that morning, so i thought rarther than having to come back to see her if i find out now will save me the hassle. I was 5 days late according to when i last had period and it was a very strong positive :) i felt like telling everyone lol i was so happy xx

Although i have had a misshap like you before now, where its been rediculusly late -.-

I've tried the CB digital tests but I've read that they don't read weak HCG levels. My doc has said the symptoms I'm experiencing could be endometriosis so me and OH are feeling very nervous as we obviously want a little'un rather than that ??
