Bump nicknames

We're trying to agree on a nickname for our LO.

It's something we've done with the more recent babies in my family (my young cousins are nicknamed P-nut and Pebbles) and I like the idea of giving LO a nickname which could potentially extend to after birth.

I just want something to call 'it' really other than 'it' or baby. And it would be good to have a code name incase anyone over hears anything before we want to tell anyone.

What were/ are your nicknames and how did they come about? Looking for ideas really :)

This has potential to totally out me, but our little foetus is known as Ini Kamoze. Of here comes the hot stepper fame - my OH refers to me as the Preg stepper....!

Writing the above down, not entirely sure naming your unborn child after a misogynistic 90's ragga star is the way forward I'd recommend...

Mine is bimba, although now we know he's a boy we often call him by his to be real name x

Tegg, Started as Miniegg, then went to Mini The Egg, then MiniT'egg (DH is Irish!) and now it just gets Tegg.
I am only 14 weeks, but I said earlier to DH that we will probably be calling it that when the baby arrives too!

My OH is nicknamed 'Ham' by a lot of his friends so we've called it 'Hamlet'. Quite cute:-)

Bob seems to have stuck as short for baby on board. Means we can talk about the lo without anyone knowing Smile unfortunately bob is now being used as meaning something else at work and I just laugh and nobody knows why.

DS was Froglet - like the Clangers. Came about because when I had to fill in my mat. notes they asked for family medical history and OH's half-bro has webbed feet. Lasted right up to birth, then he was suddenly his real name.

We started calling him/her Pea (cos of the size) which should technically be grape now, but my other half likes pea too much. So I think it has stuck xxx
