Hi There
Just need a bit of help!!!
I've suffered with previous anxiety for years and been on anti depressants to fix it! I came off them about 6 months ago! I'm now 23 weeks pregnant and I think the anxiety has returned!!! Constant feeling that something is going to happen! I'm worried to death about this pregnancy as it's my first! I can't seem to go out without feeling poorly and panicking about something which makes me feel like I'm going to be sick or faint! Just wondered if anyone has been through this before?!
Thanks
Jade

I have anxiety about health and mentioned it to my MW who referred me to a specialist nurse. She was v helpful. Might be worth asking your MW or GP for a referral?

Yeh that sounds like the best option because I don't really want to go back on my meds!
Thank you

Good luck. The anxiety really sucks at times, I've had a bad couple of days and I'm so glad I contacted them.

Hi I experienced anxiety during my pregnancy. I have past experience of anxiety/depression and had come off citalopram when I found out I was pregnant. It got so bad for me that I started taking Sertraline at 20 weeks, and haven't looked back!! Still on it and my son is 17 months now. The peri natal team at my hospital were absolutely fantastic. Good luck!

Hi Jade,
I have been suffering with anxiety over the last few weeks of being pregnant too and got referred to Talking Therapies. There's a bit of a waiting list usually but CBT therapy can be great for anxiety and worth the wait. I've been through it for other problems I've had in the past. Perhaps you have already gone through something similar? I'm not sure whether it goes by the same name in other parts of the country. It isn't an easy path but definitely worth it if you can persist and maybe worth a try if meds aren't working out?

I hope things get better for you- it's exhausting, I know!
