I love dressing my DD's (2.5 yrs apart) in matching clothes.

I think loads of people have already said it but Next do a lot of matching stuff in those ages.

When DD2 was born DD1 gave her a little teddy with a little sister tshirt. Surprisingly new DD gave her big sister a teddy with big sister tshirt on it. DD1 was delighted and couldn't get over how funny it was.

They were about £10 each but they were little Gund bears so really nice teddies.

I thought the comments where mean too my goodness. You have a very valid reason. I discovered this thread because I wanted to find something matchy for my 2 and 7 yr old for their dads party. Flipping heck some mums need to do better!

Sometimes the comments on Mumsnet are ridiculous. Ignore, OP, it's a cute idea to have matching prints for the kids sometimes - as long as you aren't putting the big one in a baby-gro, which I'm sure you aren't...

FWIW I bought my nephews (a small baby and a child) matching pyjamas from Cath Kidston, because we were visiting and it was cute to get them the same thing. CK tends to use a few prints over a lot of products, and has good sales too, so you'll definitely get something there.
