Red Raspberry leaf tablets

Can anyone advise when I am able to start taking Red Raspberry leaf tablets?

I'm not a fan of any tea and can't see myself enjoying this in tea form either.

I know the tablets are quiet strong and can be dangerous (?) when taken too early. I'm currently 21 weeks.

My midwife said not til 37 weeks

36-37 weeks and the capsules are better than the tea as you get a guaranteed strength per capsule. I took six a day from 37 weeks and it took about an hour to push my son out. Was that because of the capsules? I don't know but it didn't hurt to try!

Thanks for your help.

Cariad - Where did you purchase yours from?

32 weeks for drinking the tea as it's not as strong, 37 weeks for the capsules. I got the Clipper tea from Tesco, and the capsules from Holland & Barrett.

Ilovebean - they were just bog standard ones from Holland and Barrett. I took two tablets three times a day after meals.

I took them from about 35 weeks I think.

I had a longish labour, a few days overdue, but pushing stage was only half an hour with no tears. No idea if it helped!
