Difficulty breathing - first trimester

I'm only 10 weeks pregnant with DC3 and I'm experiencing the same symptoms I did with my previous 2 pregnancies - nausea, fatigue, etc, but once or twice a day I get really breathless - even if I'm lying in bed doing nothing! It only lasts for a few minutes, but my chest feels really tight as though I can't get enough oxygen. I know this is normal very late on when baby is squashing everything and pressing on lungs, but at 10 weeks?! Is that normal?

According to the 'week by week' diaries, yes. I'm week 11 and was concerned so checked. It's because you've got more blood, headed to different body parts, and a lot of it is plasma not red cells (or so it says).

Thanks squizita, that's reassuring (I suppose!)
