Hello all,
im 6/7 weeks and I had a scan yesterday because of bleeding.
I had the scan, they saw the baby and they said there was a heartbeat.. :) and there was no sign of bleeding from around my cervix....
I got up this morning and I started bleeding heavy and there was 2 clots,, could it be a MC or is my baby ok :(..... thanks X

I'm sorry, but there's just no way to know without getting another scan. I've heard of women who had heavy bleeding and clots then went on to have successful pregnancies, so it may still be ok.

I hope it works out for you - let me know.

If the worst does happen, there is a lot of advice and support in the miscarriage board, but I do hope you won't need it.

Hi teasle

Sorry to read you are going through this. Can you get yourself back to EPU for a further scan?
Last year I had a light bleed and a scan showed a heartbeat but the following day bled heavier and we MC.
Many many women have bleeds throughout though so all may be well. Have you got any cramping? FX for you x

ihave a little bit of cramping..

Did your MW arrange the scan for you or can you self refer?

The not knowing is just horrible. The saying is hope for the best...prepare for the worst....either way push for a scan and then that way you'll have a better idea of what's happening.

Hope you have someone who can be with you in RL today...if not we're all here for support x

I have to get the midwife to refer me, and even tho they said there was no signs of bleeding around my cervix could it still be MC...

Well yes it could be, but also could be another reason. Ring your MW for advice x

I guess you don't have to. You could sit it out and see if bleeding/cramps worsen.
