More often I am finding myself checking the time in bed and it being past 7am and I haven't slept yet! I'm 17+3 and just wondering If this is common or others have experienced the same? Please let me know, thanks x

Been awake since 2am! 3am = blueberry bagel! Just in case it was hunger stopping me sleeping. Will try again in a bit! Got diagnosed with UTI today so now on antibios and have to drink lots of water = (even) more weeing! Glad to see I'm the only one tonight!

HeavenK76 · 28/02/2014 04:00

I'm still awake, lol
will be for another hour or so!

inmybelly · 28/02/2014 04:08

Thank you!

Awake again, 3.30am like clockwork! Although a bizarre dream woke me (I was drawing a dragon which became real) my bladder forced me out of bed and now I can't stop thinking about my 2nd hcg blood test tomorrow.

Completely awake!!

Pickofthepops · 28/02/2014 04:14

Me too 8 +3 and not slept 2 till 5 since just before bfp .. Knackered

LastOneDancing · 28/02/2014 04:17

I have just frightened myself awake - baby was leaping around after tea/ when I got in bed, but when I woke up at 3.30 s/he wouldn't budge!

Just had a cold can of coke & thankfully had a couple of kicks (hooray!) but now I'm full of sugar and caffeine with an awake baby...!

The price of paranoia! Worth it though.

inmybelly · 28/02/2014 04:24

Lastonedancing: I think I'll be exactly like you. At the moment I'm paranoid I've had a missed miscarriage (I'm 5w3d) but if I ever get to your stage I'm sure I'll be very closely monitoring movements and worrying about that instead. Does the worry ever end??? :) Probably not!

I'm awake again! Also had a very strange dream which is stopping me wanting to go to sleep. ..we were at an air port, bought a bob the builder magazine because it had a key ring went to board and shutters came down the other side of the holding bay. Then they said someones bag was contaminated and we had to follow this maze for hours until we were tired. One lady gave birth! Then I was at home- we must have given up on the plane and we were decorating or gardening when door bell rang. I answered and 2 scary ladies asked to come in I opened the door asked who they were and they shoved me aside. Was scared and woke up! How about that for bizarre!!!

inmybelly · 28/02/2014 05:01

The dreams are mental right?! I've had a few very x rated erotic dreams which, quite honestly, have left me wondering whether someone with a subconscious like mine is really fit to be a mother!

Oh god, shuddering just thinking about one dream in particular!!

MummyPig24 · 28/02/2014 06:29

I'm happy to say I had a better night last night. Up about midnight with heartburn and sore ear/jaw so I went and took some paracetamol. Slept ok from then on but did wake and look at the time at 3,4 and 5! Started playing candy crush at 6!

MammySam · 28/02/2014 06:37

Hi
Not sure if you've tried sleeping sitting up?! Sounds bonkers but with DD I found this really helpful, especially in 3rd trimester! I still sleep upright from time to time now! ( only 5 wks at the moment tho!)
:D

Vikkijayne2507 · 01/03/2014 14:13

Me too with the crazy dreams. I got woken needing a wee up from being a dectetive on some sort of farm and it was all up to me to find whatever it was. I slept well last night for me. I didnt go to sleep until 3.30 but when I did I slept well for 3 hours needed a wee, went to bed, another 3 hours another wee but I actually feel good today. so sleep at 3am, up at 6am, up at 9 am and then out of bed at 12.

Oh lastone im exactly the same im constantly worry i dont feel him moving I jiggle him around and have a cold drink and sugar. I just made him move now I bounced belly around and hes given me a couple of nudges saying oi get off. I think my issue is he has his back to my belly so I dont feel his arms as they are inwards and I only really feel his legs when he moves but I do feel his feet which is such a werid feeling. im gunna worry for the next 5 or so weeks agghh thats a lot of worrying

34 + 3 weeks

HelenHen · 01/03/2014 14:45

I'm 33 weeks and its been better the past few weeks for some reason. I only wake up to per twice - 1 and 5am Grin

My dream genii pillow is annoying the shit out of me though! It's like having a third person in bed with us and it gets caught up in the duvet! But when I go without it my hips hurt Sad so last night was the spare room for me and it was wonderful.

HelenHen · 01/03/2014 14:48

Pee twice... Not per!

Oh and in response to the lady with the giant dream genii, the Cuddle and Sleep is smaller and more slender, meaning there is enough space on the bed for both DH and I, so that's another benefit. I also use it to gently hit DH if he dares snore.. :D

PenguinsEatSpinach · 02/03/2014 20:47

Hang on Miel, on another thread you had had the baby and were using this miracle pillow for breastfeeding. You are coming across rather 'advertorial' Hmm
