Waiting for morning sickness...

Hi everyone!

I'm currently 5w+1 and nervously anticipating the onset of nausea any day now! Feeling bloated and the odd bit of light-headedness atm. Have been reading lots of threads re morning sickness and loads of ladies said it starts any time now, yikes! Needed to nip out of class today for the loo (I'm a teacher) and realised a) how far away the toilet is past lots of other classrooms and b) the fact that the toilet is right next to the head's office. If/when sickness starts I think I will have to tell work straight away! When did your morning sickness start?

I remember feeling smug at 9 weeks thinking I was one of the lucky ones who it was obviously going to pass by. Then one day I woke up and tried to remember how much I'd drunk to feel this hungover. Then I remembered I was pregnant so hadn't drunk at all. For me it felt like a lingering hangover with occasional bouts of throwing up.

Mine didn't start until 9 weeks this time and I've been pretty puke free as long as I keep eating. It's meant I can still work! It may not be so bad for you!

I have been pregnant 4 times and threw up twice. I felt a bit queasy some times, but nothing that stopped me doing anything.

Keep your fingers crossed!

Felyne this! Yes! "For me it felt like a lingering hangover with occasional bouts of throwing up."

DH thinks it's hilarious (although he is very nice about it and sympathetic when I actually barf), as when we were young and wild many years ago, I could party on down with the cheapest of beverages and never bat an eyelid. Now I'm booze-free, healthfood guzzling and nap constantly but feel like a student the morning after cheap shots night EVERY DAY.

first baby @ 6weeks. morning sickness just started for me and im struggling to eat. i think if i wasnt struggling to eat then i wouldnt be sick. theres something about food hitting an empty stomach when ur pregnant. be aware of that if ur eating fine now try keep it up.
