Kicks low down - breech?

Hello!

33wks pregnant and his kicks are and have been for the last 5 weeks on my left hip and right down into my cervix.
My first was breech and Never turned. Do you think maybe this one is too? I think his bum is in my cervix. Midwife said at last app that he was head down, I just don't see how he is when I'm having kicks so low down

Punches!! My little lady is head down and has been entire pregnancy and I feel her punches in my groins, hips and cervix area :-)

See I thought that but I had a scan 4 weeks ago and he was transverse with a foot in his face, not very comfortable! It feels like he's flipped head up. I have a check up next week so will see what they say. Looking forward to being able to sit up properly without a big bump in the way!

Do you ever see a bottom protruding or feel a bottom? Mine likes to poke her bum out and arch her back, especially if you then rub it she does it more!!! (And particularly if it's her Daddy rubbing her back/bum!! Lol!!)- so that's the biggest give away to me about her position :-)

Could be little arms, I'm 33 weeks, baby head down and get sharp jolts where you describe, very uncomfortable.

I'm not sure if it's his bum or head poking out just right of my belly button. It's almost like he's either head up bum down stretching his legs out to my left hip or...
Bum on right hip and feet in face. And yes very uncomfortable

I get kicks really low down and thought the same thing, when I went to midwife app and she said he was head down. So looks like he's been punching and head butting me.

I honestly can't work out what position he's in but most of the movement is really low. That was at 28 weeks I'm now 33 weeks

Definitely could be punches. I only ever felt kicks right down low, and it turned out to be her hands - she was compound presentation and was born both hands first.

I always felt 'kicks' really low down, never high up or under my ribs etc, the midwife said it was probably punches. However, DD was undiagnosed breech and I had EMCS- obviously don't know if she turned late or was actually breech the whole time and they made a mistake

See that's what I'm concerned about, because I've had a breech baby before that they say he's head down but is actually bum down!
I'll see what they say, hopefully they offer me a scan so we can check!

DS was transverse breech. Midwife was always convinced she could feel him head down but I could feel his head under my left ribs. Growth scan at 35 weeks confirmed he was head up. I had an anterior placenta which made it difficult to locate him and also made it difficult to make out any features. Kicks were always low down and uncomfortable. When their head is under your ribs it is very difficult to get comfortable sitting unless you are very upright.

My baby is extended breech at 37 weeks and I don't feel anything at the bottom. The movements are at the side (extended legs poking out) or at the top (head and shoulders squirming around).

I was wondering if this baby was breech when I went for my 32 week growth scan as I get no kicks at the top of my bump only squirming movements. Turns out baby is head down with their feet tucked right over their head so the kicks are more to the side or bottom of my bump. During the scan baby was actually holding one of their feet in their hand. I'm 35 weeks now and think baby is a similar position still. So movements only at the bottom doesn't always mean breech. Obviously if your concerned then keep raising it with the midwife better to get it confirmed either way, although at 33 weeks they can still turn anyway.

I'll see what midwife says. I have a history of breech births and myself and my brother and sister were all breech so could run in the family! Would but so much easier if we had a scan machine at home all the time just to check

Dc1 was breech and I felt all the movement and kicks very low down. The sensation was exactly the same with dc3, the whole Riverdance on the cervix feeling so I was convinced I was having another breech but MWs and consultant said not.

I was just about full term when I was asked to be a interviewed and examined by medical students for their exams. A couple of them examined me and said baby was breech, the consultant said not. However a few days later I went into labour and the MW did a scan to see which way dc was lying and sure enough it was a breech presentation. I did yelp a bit "I knew it! " then felt a bit vindicated for those studentss who'd actually got it right.

IMissSleep I'm pregnant again (only 21 weeks) and will be having a scan at the end to determine position. If I were you i'd definitely ask for the same, so they can be certain.

Is it possible for breech to run in families? I was breech, my mum was breech, her sister had a breech baby and my granny (their mum) was breech. Coincidence?? Or wonky shaped wombs?

When my mum learned I was going into theatre to have the CS she said "I bet it's a girl". And it was! :-)

But now my sister is worried that if she ever gets pregnant she'll need a CS. I told her not to worry. Getting a bit ahead of herself there.

I think it could run in the family. I'll probably have to be a bit pushy with this, they told me my first son was bum up and it was actually his head under my rib! I was adamant it was a head!

I can actually feel an outline of a foot on the side of my belly, just above my hip so I know it's not his hands.

I'll go for a private scan if they won't scan me. The thought of trying for a vbac and him being the wrong way round scares the hell out of me
