I know no one knows the answer to this but I'm climbing the walls and would be grateful to know if anyone experienced the same as me and how long it took their labour to arrive..
I'm 40 weeks + 5, had a sweep at 40+1 and was 2cm dilated & partially effaced. had the joyous bloody show 2 days later. Total insomnia made worse by needing to wee every 2 hours... Terribly hormonal and hard to be around yet somehow persuaded DH to have sex this morning. Since then I've had shooting pains down my backside and legs and can hardly walk! We did lots of walking yesterday and had a bumpy car ride but now the thought of getting off the sofa makes me weep.
If one more person phones, texts or facebooks me to ask if there's any news I may smash my phone. Even the cat is getting on my nerves!
Is this normal? Help!
