Milk has been helping me, although I'm not a massive milk fan. So I bought some of the nesquik milkshake strawberry powder to put in the milk. Seems to take the edge off the horrible heart burn.

I also used those gaviscon tablets which help more than medicine.

I think the docs can prescribe you with better stuff but those things are helping me.

I have to say heartburn is pretty brutal I never normally get heart burn,

Hope you sort it soon x

Go to the docs and ask for omeprazole.
You can thank me later Wink

Gaviscon up to a point, when that stopped working for me I also got some Omeprazole, bloody brilliant stuff! Changed my life I swear!

Saying that, you have to make sure you take it every day. I forgot yesterday's... Won't make that mistake again owww! Shock

If you don't get it very often then gaviscon should do the trick (you can get extra strong stuff from behind the pharmacy counter) or rantidine.

If the heartburn is persistent, whether you've eaten or not, or if you eat even simple foods, then ask your GP for omeprazole which you will need to take daily. Wonderful stuff!
