Im 34+1 today. Had a antenatal check up this morning and all is well. Baby doing well and head down.
I bought some rasberry leaf capsules and wanted to start taking them today.
Can anyone tell me if this is ok? or is it too soon and should I just wait untill im 36weeks?

The usual advice is not to take it until the last 8 weeks of pregnancy so you should be OK.

I'm 36 weeks today, and thought it was 36 weeks that you should start at.

I took it from around 35 weeks, it didn't help me lol!

The guy in Holland and Barratt said 36wks. But one midwife I met said you can start it from 32weeks. I have a friend that started it at 30weeks and she went 10 days overdue!! dilema's dilema's!!

i started taking it at 32 weeks. i went one day over my due date, but the 2 nd stage of labour was much faster then with my first when i didnt drink it. 2 minutes compared with 1 1/2 hrs!!

Going to get some today.. Am I right in thinking it softens? 2 minutes sounds good!!! I had a section last time, so anything to reduce pushing and risk of being taken in for another one if pushing goes on too long...

I heard pineapple was good too?
