For those of you who suffered (morning!) sickness, how far gone were you when it started?

Mine hit properly at about 8 weeks. Along with the constant feeling of nausea!

MissYamabuki · 17/02/2014 17:24

Dd: 5 weeks -had hyperemesis though :(
this time around: 8 weeks, "just" morning sickness. It's a boy apparently :)

StupidMistakes · 17/02/2014 17:29

about 5 weeks gone, but it hit my now ex husband harder and mine was concentrated at between 1 and 2 in the morning and was just the sicky feeling rather than actually being sick why the twunt felt the need to wake me at 1 am to say he felt sick and therefore make me suffer I don't know

TheRaniOfYawn · 17/02/2014 17:32

At about 6 weeks both times.

SweetPea86 · 17/02/2014 17:37

weebairn · 17/02/2014 18:25

atomicyoghurt · 17/02/2014 18:28

3 pregnancies and all three it was between week 6 and week 7 and lasted till about week 22.

17leftfeet · 17/02/2014 18:33

2 dcs

I was sick before my period was late both times and carried on for 20-22 weeks

I don't like being pregnant!

Heatherbell1978 · 17/02/2014 19:00

Mine started around 5 weeks but was more nausea than actual sickness. Every morning I'd just gag for ages bringing up saliva, weird. I'm now 14.5 weeks and for the last 2 weeks I've felt much better so hoping I'm over the worst x

AFergie · 17/02/2014 19:04

5 weeks until 14 weeks with a high peek between 7 and 9 weeks.
Ugh it was awful ! It seriously calmed down at 12 weeks and by 14 weeks it was gone.

Good luck !!

Halfling · 17/02/2014 19:10

At around 6 weeks, both the times. I had hyperemesis during both the pregnancies, so by 2 months I was vomiting 20+ times a day. It got better sometime in the middle of the second trimester.

Misty9 · 17/02/2014 19:33

6 weeks on the dot for this pregnancy. Didn't have it with ds. Lasted for 10 awful, soul destroying weeks. Is almost a distant memory at 33wks now, but I definitely won't be going through it again.

MummyPig24 · 17/02/2014 19:38

About 6 weeks this time (dc3) and lasted till 17 weeks.

DownstairsMixUp · 17/02/2014 19:42

1st no sickness.

This one started at about 7 weeks. It's stopping now (i'm 11 weeks)

WhatHaveIDone75 · 17/02/2014 20:08

1st pg late 7 weeks until 15 weeks.

This pg 5 weeks and counting... sooooo bleurgh. Worse in the morning when (thankfully?) there's nothing in my stomach!

ImMarmite · 17/02/2014 20:10

12 weeks till about 15 weeks

AWimbaWay · 17/02/2014 20:14

I did a pregnancy test because I felt sick in all three of my pregnancies, my period wasn't late yet. I've been told that's odd as the hormones that cause sickness don't kick in until later, well they certainly kicked in earlier with me, and went on until about 15 weeks, as it would appear they did with 17leftfeet. I also don't like being pregnant.

HandragsNGladbags · 17/02/2014 20:19

DC3 4 weeks and 2 days - seriously! Got the positive on the Sunday, nausea started on the Tuesday. Stopped around 14 weeks.

DC1 got nothing, DC2 from about 6 weeks to 20. Bleurgh.

eurochick · 17/02/2014 22:35

Not until about 9 weeks. Seems to be easing around 12. I had food aversions before that though without actually feeling generally nauseous.

Missingcaffeine · 17/02/2014 23:25

5 weeks 4 days. Then nausea steadily got worse in severity. I'm now 8 + 2. I've only vomitted once, but constant nausea every day, and lots of nearly vomitting! I'm hoping it starts to ease soon.
