I'm 34+3 and over the last 3-4 days I have been hit with exhaustion! There isn't any reason for it!!

I was feeling run down about a month ago and was diagnosed as being anaemic but I really picked up once I started treatment with iron supplements so I'm not sure why I'm suddenly shattered all the time again.

Yesterday I didn't wake up until 10.50am and this morning it was 11.20am. I still feel tired and constantly yawning throughout the day too!!

I had blood tests last week to re-check my iron levels and my midwife will be ringing he on Tuesday with the results. I can't imagine it's this though as I'm popping pills daily and having Spatone drinks.

Or is this just my bodies way of preparing for the birth??
Getting me rested whilst I have the chance to sleep??

I think it's normal to be tired at this stage.

Not sure you should be having Spatone on top of the tablets though.

Sadly exhaustion like this can be totally normal. Just enjoy the ability to go with the flow. Smile

I was like that too towards the end, I probably spent more of my days asleep than awake! I made a real effort to take some fresh air and exercise when I felt up to it, but some days that was impossible. Just give in to it and enjoy the rest when you can :)

I feel exhausted too. I'm 36 weeks and knackered. Not sleeping well and even walking up the stairs has me out of breath. I think it's normal, I hope it is anyway!
