Movement on one side only

I'm 16w + 4 and over the last couple of days have started to feel some flutters and pops which I think is the baby making itself known Smile
It's gotten more obvious over the last couple of hours but it's always in the same place, on the right hand side. Is this normal? Shouldn't the baby be moving around all over the place? Or should I be worried (or do you think maybe it's not the baby at all?)

Is it your first? 16 weeks is still quite early tbh, you wouldn't be feeling lots everywhere yet. Though your placenta could be the other side anyway or it could just be wind, sorry :)

I'm 28 weeks and at my last midwife appointment I checked with midwife where my placenta was (results of 20 week scan) as I didn't remember being told. she said it was anterior (I think, if this means at the front).. anyway, she asked if I feel most of baby's movement at the sides as placenta at front will muffle alot. hope that helps x

i always felt the movements in the same place. At first so faint i assumed wind, but it was unmistakable once they got bigger. Always my lower left.

Thank you. It might be too early but if it is the baby it's nice to know its not abnormal to be in one place Smile
