6 weeks...had a scan...7mm cystic structure found...

Hello everyone.

I had my BFP last weekend after which I had some period like pains and some spotting. I called NHS Direct > out of hours GP who then referred me to the EPU.

I had my scan yesterday, they found a 7mm "cystic structure" but with no fetal contents. They took some blood yesterday, I have to go back tomorrow for another blood test so that they can check my HCG levels.

Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Keeping our fingers crossed everything will be OK.

Hi, I haven't experienced this myself, but didn't want to read and run. I hope all turns out ok and your blood test goes well xx

I hope you get some more answers today. Sometimes no more than a yolk sac can be seen until 7 weeks so really hope it's just that and all is well. X
