When planning this pregnancy and in the first two weeks I was going to be the healthiest pregnant woman ever.

I was going to continue eating healthy, low carb food.

Then morning all fucking day and night sickness kicked in and all I ate inbetween bouts of puking was crisps. Tablets helped, but I still felt nauseous if I didn't eat carbs by the shed load every two hours. So I mainly lived off jacket pototoes, pies, chips, white bread and the odd cake and mcdonalds to keep me cheerful.

Now I'm 33 weeks and I have eaten everyhing in sight for weeks and I dot care anymore.

I've always had to watch my weight as previous dieting has screwed my matabolism, but I haven't weighed myself since 20 weeks but I estimate a four stone gain.

Dh bought me a box of thorntons this morning for valentines day. Just polished off the last one Blush

Please tell me I'm not alone!

I lived off McDonald's, burger king and KFC for the first four months. The sight of a vegetable made me vomit. Better now and can eat fruit but still am not thrilled with my diet. On the upside i can't deal with sugar at all so it's the salty stuff I crave!

First 12 weeks I ate everything in sight lol. My appetite had calmed down now thank goodness otherwise I would be as big as a house by the time the baby gets here!!

Had dd5 in January and I ate better in pregnancy than after lol.
When pregnant I craved strawberries and figs by the plate load aswell as yoghurt and blueberries, my main naughty treats were niace cheeses and cooked meats, now she is 5 wks Im eating badly again. Time for my diet to start next weekGrin

Yes, I was going to eat organically and avoid all sugars except naturally occurring fructose. hahaha! Grin To stave off the exhaustion and nausea I stuffed my face from day 1 with cakes and biscuits as well as the healthy foods. The gain was really fast initially and I wasn't brave enough to weigh myself after 34 weeks but shockingly I'm only 13lbs up from pre-pregnancy weight 10 days postpartum. I'm still eating loads but the weight is dropping off quickly due to breastfeeding a very hungry baby.

You're definitely not alone! I have always had a good healthy diet..always kept my sugar levels in check...dark chocolate not milk, veggies, organic, wholegrain etc...and like u, the 24hr nausea meant it all went to pot. I have just scoffed half a huge family bag of salt and vinegar crisps, 3 twix bars and i had chocolate cake after my breakfast this morning to give me the energy to have a shower!
I'm 21 weeks now and 2 good friends told me the same happened to them but they both went straight back to their usual eating habits once baby was born.
They say the baby takes all it needs then u have to get by on what's left...so the sugar cravings make sense. I'm still baffled tho why salt and vinegar crisp help the nausea!!?

This a all making me feel much better about the huge curry I am going to order tonight.

And the three bacon sandwiches I had for breakfast...and the two kitkats I ate when I got out he bath as I felt light headed.

I am really hoping I am one of those women who just expends calories while breastfeeding!

Salt and vinegar crisps are the best thing ever for morning sickness! Even my dr told me to eat them when I felt nauseous!
