Has any suffered from this during pregnancy? Been told its common but have not heard of it before.

I have an SUA yes - I think it's not that common though (1-1.5% of pregnancies?). There was a thread fairly recently with a few people who had SUA (including some reassuring stories from people who had given birth with no complications). Seems that in most cases the single artery becomes bigger to compensate and it makes no difference to baby's development, but it's the kind of thing doctors will keep a watchful eye over.
