Marking my place here as I'm keen to know too!

At mine the Dr asked me some questions - how I was feeling, were my stitches healing, had my bleeding stopped etc. Then she examined dd and asked a few questions such as was she smiling yet (she wasnt, but she wasn't worried anyway)

What mrs bug said plus questions about sex and contraception.

6-8 week baby check

6 week check for you

Both NHS info.

My 6 week check was nothing like what the link says! The baby had a full check over, stripped off and checked reflexes, eyes, hips and listened to heartbeat. Then a few questions for me, a prescription for the pill and a quick check of my stitches but only because I was worried about how it was healing - I don't think they always check unless you have any concerns. I wasn't weighed or asked anything about that which I was glad about - I gained a LOT of weight and would have been mortified Blush

None od the things on that list happened at my six week check. I didn't actually bother to have one with dd2 it was so pointless.

The baby appt was separate amd with the HV team at 8 weeks

We had a lovely little chat about how cute the baby was. Was there anything worrying me? No medical tests or examinations. Dr said I have to talk to you about contraception. We both smiled wryly.
