Raspberry leaf tea - can I pick my own raspberry leaves?

OK, this might sound silly so sorry. I want to drink raspberry leaf tea as I'm nearing the end of pg and used it last time and thought it helped. However, I now have a garden with raspberry plants in but I don't know what variety they are. Can I pick the leaves and use them or does it have to be a specific variety?

Thanks!

info here

the leaf that is used is Rubus idaeus, the red raspberry leaf. I think that's the same as common or garden raspberry leaves, in this country, BUT I'm not 100 per cent sure. Also make sure you are more than 36 weeks along before you use any, to be on the safe side

bumping for more expert advice!

Thank you both - didn't know if anyone would be bothered to respond!

Any homeopaths/herbologists lurking out there?
