ok serious baby brain going on here! I'm 18 weeks and had my 16 week appointment just over two weeks ago. The midwife said I needed to wait at least two weeks and then call up to make my next appointment which is fine but I can't for the life of me remember when it's supposed to be for?
My notes are in the car which DP has taken to work with him so I can't have a peek. Anyone know when it is we are supposed to have apoointments? and does the next one need to be before or after the anomalie scan? (this is my first pregnancy) Thanks! Grin Grin

I'm 21 weeks and my next midwife appointment is at 24 weeks (last one I had was at 16 weeks).

your next scan should be at 20 weeks and ur next midwives appointment should be at 24 weeks

The receptionists at your doctor's surgery (if that's where you see your midwife) should be able to tell you when you need to book it for. Just tell them it'll be your second appointment and it's your first baby but you can remember at what week it's supposed to happen.

Great thank you! The lady in reception at my doctors didn't have a clue either which is worrying! I will call and book now and make sure to write the date down so I don't forget Smile Smile

i've been told to have anolmoly scan at 10 weeks and then book midwife appointment for 21.. That's whats on my mat notes and what the MW told me last week at my 16 week appointment.. don't know if that helps
:)

Have a look at this: NHS antenatal appointments schedule

Broadly speaking, it's the same for everyone - but who you see and how they are arranged seems to differ massively. For example my next appt is always arranged during the current one (except for some random 31 week one which has to be with my GP for an additional heart and lung check - what?!).

I think I saw the mw at 16 weeks, gp at 25 weeks, mw at 28, I'm now 35 and was meant to see the mw last week but she wasn't in so will see her next week at 36 weeks.

I had my appointment at 16 weeks and my next one is tomorrow at 24 weeks. I think that is pretty standard for a first baby with no other concerns.
