Hello, i am 35+4 and my bump became very uncomfortable yesterday for the first time. When i went to bed i had constant period pain and onlyseemed to ease off when i laid on my back and it felt a little more comfortable on my right side but still hurt. I barely had any sleep so i get up this morning and all seems fine again except i have noticed some bump pains which i had yesterday too sharp ish pains.

I am happy to call mw but wondered whether this seemed familiar to anyone or if anyone had any suggestions?

Thank you

I'd call your midwife just to get her opinion. To be honest though aches and pains get gradually more frequent the bigger you get! Also IME labour pains were so much stronger when laying on my back

I'm 34+2 and had period pains few weeks back- midwife said it was Braxton hicks. Had them Weds, Thurs and Today as well- no comfortable but kind of figured it's just stretching/Braxton hicks/ general heaviness of baby. Saw a midwife on weds and was told it was normal :-)
