it really doesn't tell you much I am afraid. it could move fast from now or stay that way for 10 days. You just don't know.

if its any encouragement to you, i had a sweep on monday (second baby) @ 39+6. cervix was posterior, 2cm long, soft & less than 1cm dilated. breathed my way through a painful sweep....

today still posterior but 1cm long, v soft and 2-3cm dilated. for the greater good i breathed my way through another agonising sweep!!!!

no pain no gain....

I was that at 41 weeks at my first sweep.
It took two sweeps and three more days. Hopefully you're nearly there!
