Tiredness still not letting up

I'm 9+5 and have felt like I've been run over by a truck I'm that tired and lacking in energy. Still sleeping about 10-12 hours sleep a night easily, and when I'm awake and not at work just sitting in the floor playing board games with my 5 year old is tiring me out. It's horrendous.

I half expected my blood tests from my booking appointment to come back saying I'm anaemic but nope, everything normal.

I'm hoping someone will come along and say this will lift soon enough and I'll have enough energy to do more than walk to the toilet to vomit (yet another charming side affect I'm having rather recurringly, now 8lbs lighter than before I got pregnant) xx

I think the tiredness lifted around the 12 week mark for me last time.

Fingers crossed you get a burst of energy soon

Im 16+5 and tiredness is still here. Getting out of bed needs rewarding with a sit on the sofa for 20 mins. Work is really difficult, ive been falling asleep at the desk. All my bloods are ok too. I hope we all start to feel more human soon x

Same here mrsgiraffe. I have given in to resting all day and even taken two days off work because the nausea and sickness was so exhausting. I suppose I'm going with what my body is telling me to do as this is my first pregnancy and I don't have any little ones to take care of. Although I feel rotten at least I have the option to do nothing.

I have been told this feeling will lift about 12-14 weeks. Fingers crossed!

In my first pregnancy the tiredness lifted around 20 weeks and I felt great. Now 29weeks with #2 and it never lifted at all. I also hoped my bloods would come back showing anaemia so that there would be a reason and also a solution but my iron levels are excellent. I am permanently exhausted and hardly sleeping which obviously exacerbates it. All I can say is rest as much as you can and it won't last forever!

I'm 13 wks and still sick and super tired too, I'm thinking when I can manage to eat a bit more I am hoping my energy levels will be boosted. I have two under 5 to look after so its sort of expected I'm a bit more tired as I can't just relax like I could with pregnancy number 1. Fingers crossed ill be a bit more human over the next fortnight.xxx
