I'm 33 weeks and before I was even pregnant I suffered very mildly with piles. Now for the last week or so, it feels like baby has moved down a bit lower but is constantly pushing down on my arse which has caused me to get more piles Hmm these ones I know aren't from straining, but pressure from the baby on my arse. Is this normal? I take it that it is but will they disappear after even though I've suffered with them previously?

I think so. It's good if you've managed to avoid piles in pregnancy up to now (although you may not feel good at the moment!). They're very common and the main advice I've had from doc etc is drink plenty of water, fibre etc. Some of the creams may help you, In my experience mine improved straight after the birth so I hope yours clear up before too long!

I have had them on and off during pregnancy due to constipation, and badly straining Hmm might mention it to my midwife but I'm hoping it's just because of the pressure down there. It feels like my bum is split open Grin
